About the school
D.A.V Orient GyanMandir is a branch of the DAV group directly managed by Orient Cement Limited, Devapurunder DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi.
The school building is in Orient Cement Colony, Devapur.
It was started on September 15th 2022 officially on receiving the permission from the Ministry of Education, State Government of Telangana. The school is run for the employees of Orient Cement Limited and also for the welfare of poor in the village of Devapur, Kasipet Mandal, Mancherial District, Telangana. The school has got recognized from the State Education Department of Telangana for Nursery to class 10 till 2032.
The school is equipping to the needs of almost 1200 students in a pleasant environment.
Sick room is equipped with first-aid kit enabling immediate attention to the children whenever needed. Water dispensers are placed in common area, providing purified and safe drinking water.
The school’s mission is to provide exceptional care to the children while fostering each child’s intellectual, social, physical and moral development in an academic rich environment.
